Working experience

  • 07/2008 – Present: Interaction designer at Itsme S.r.l. (www.itsme.it).

    Researcher and designer within the interaction design team for the Itsme project, an open source OS with a new metaphor based on “Stories and Venues”.
    I am currently in charge of researching and investigating the actual technology panorama, conceptualize new Itsme OS features and specify requirements for the development. Furthermore I am in charge of coordination between interaction design, tech development, and communication teams.

  • 09/2007 – 07/2008: UI specialist consultant at H3G Italy (www.h3g.it).

    In charge of UI improvements within the H3g Italy Product Development team. I was responsible of defining both the UI and GUI of Momo Design handsets, supervising product consistency within the different devices platforms. Furthermore followed as well UI and GUI customization for international vendor products commercialized by H3G.

  • 01/2007 – 09/2007: Freelance activity.

    Interaction design, web design and graphic design, working in collaboration with Total Tool Milano (www.totaltool.it), RMG Connect (JWT group, www.rmgconnect.it), Synèo (www.syneo.it).

  • 06/2006 – 12/2006: Internship at Jamba GmbH, Berlin (www.jamba.de).

    Interaction and graphic design within the Jamba Music Team, responsible for the Jamba Music client development, music player application for PC and mobile phones.

  • 10/2003 -04/2004: Internship at Total Tool Milano, Milano,Italy (www.totaltool.it).

    Web design, graphic design and research activity. I designed and developed the cd-rom and website for the International Community of Grand Saint Bernard, the Total Tool Milano website, and other internal project.

    My thesis aimed to use the general approach of the Slow Food organisation as the basis for a new design concept, specifically in creating a new approach to interface design.
